fMakeDir_55 (Function)
In French: fRepCrée_55
fMakeDir_55 is kept for backward compatibility.
In this version, the management of directory creation was optimized and it now returns a boolean. To benefit from this new feature, use fMakeDir.
The documentation about fMakeDir_55 is as follows.

Purpose
Creating a directory on disk.
Syntax
<Result> = fMakeDir_55(<Directory>)
  • <Result> in an integer containing the status report of the function.
  • <Directory> is a character string containing the name of the directory to create (up to 260 characters). This character string can be in ANSI or Unicode format.
Details
The directory whose path is passed in parameter is created. fMakeDir_55 returns:
  • 0 if the creation was successful.
  • -1 if the directory was not created or if it already exists. The function has no effect.
Notes
fMakeDir_55 allows you to to create a single directory level.
For example:
fMakeDir_55("C:\DIR1\CIR2") //returns -1 if DIR1 does not exist
You must write:
IF fMakeDir_55"C:\DIR1")<>-1 THEN fMakeDir_55("C:\DIR1\DIR2")
If no drive is specified, the directory is created in the current drive.
Example
IF fMakeDir_55("C:\Tmp")<>0 THEN
Info("The directory was not created")
END
