Syntax
<Result> = DateToDayInAlpha(<Date>)
<Result>: Character string
Day of the week corresponding to the specified date: monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday.
Note: The day of the week depends on the linguistic options specified for the dates in the project description ("Project ..   • If the project uses the linguistic options of Windows for the dates, the day will be returned in the language of Windows.
  • If the project uses specific parameters for the dates (for one or more languages), the day returned will correspond to the one specified in the project description.
<Date>: Character string (with quotes) or Date variable
Date in YYYYMMDD format.
Remarks
The storage format allows you to store dates from 01/01/0001 to 12/31/9999.
The calculations performed on dates by the WLanguage functions or by the WLanguage properties are accurate from January 1st 1583.

The PopCalendar window is very useful in the applications containing date controls.
Indeed, the PopCalendar window allows you to choose a date visually.
The risk of error is reduced as the user can see the day of the week corresponding to the selected date.
Then, the date control is filled with the value returned by the PopCalendar window.
