  • is a page built in HTML directly, the value corresponds to "about:blank".
  • is a page from a site, the value corresponds to the address of the page (www.windev.com for example).
  • is an HTML file, the value corresponds to the address of the file.
Universal Windows 10 App ..Value returns the URL of the site but it cannot return the HTML code of the control. This property cannot be used to associate a local htm file with the HTML control.

Value of Multimedia control

..Value is used to find out the name of the multimedia file associated with a Multimedia control. This property can also be used to modify the multimedia file linked to the control:
  • The file specified by ..Value is associated with the control, loaded and played (equivalent to MultimediaPlay).
  • If the value of the control is an empty string (""), the read operation is stopped and the file is unloaded from memory.
