Overview
WEBDEV proposes several methods for running the test of your sites:
  • Test of the entire project:
Running the test of the entire project is used to simulate the start of the site. This allows you to run the test of the entire site, even if its development is not finished yet.
    For more details, see:
  • Stress test:
The WDTestSite tool is used to run stress tests for a dynamic site. WDTestSite allows you to establish several simultaneous connections to a dynamic WEBDEV site.
    For more details, see: WDTestSite.
  • Test of a single page:
Running the test of a single page allows you to run the current page in WEBDEV. This allows you to run the test of your project from a given page or to check the operating mode of a page as soon as its development is ended.
    For more details, see:
  • Test of a single query:
Running the test of a single query allows you to run the current query in WEBDEV. This allows you to check the operating mode of a query as soon as its development is ended.
  • Test of a single report:
Running the test of a single report allows you to run the current report in WEBDEV. This allows you to check the implementation of a report as soon as it is developed. The debugger can be started as soon as a problem occurs.
  • Running the project step by step:
Running the project step by step allows you to start the debugger when launching the site. This solution allows you to monitor how the server codes of the site are run.
  • Test and debug of a site found on an application server:
You have the ability to run the test of a a remote site found on any application server and to debug it. Therefore, the site is directly debugged on the live server.
  • Attach to a session currently run on an application server:
You have the ability to debug a session currently run on a remote site.
