A Table control managed by programming can be:
  • read-only
  • editable
If the Table control is editable, it may be necessary to manage the addition of a new row into the table. To do so, you must use TableAddLine and ReturnToCapture.
Principle
To manage the addition of a new row into a Table control by programming:
  1. In the window, crate a button containing the Table control. This button will manage the addition of the row into the Table control.
  2. In the click code of this button:
    • use TableAddLine to add a new row.
    • retrieve the number of the added row (via TableAddLine) and store it in a variable.
    • position on the new added row.
    • give focus to the column where the input will be performed with ReturnToCapture.
Note: If you are using TableAdd to add a new row into the table, TableCount will have to be used to retrieve the number of the new added row.

Code sample

nRowNum is int

// Add a row
nRowNum = TableAddLine(TABLE_OrdLine)
// The added row becomes the current row
TABLE_OrdLine = nRowNum
// Select the column where the input will be performed
ReturnToCapture(TABLE_OrdLine.COL_ProductRef)
Minimum required version
