Stored procedures
Initializes the search for a text in a PDF file displayed by the PDF Reader control and positions on the first occurrence found (from the current page). The text found is selected.
Example
// Finds a text in a PDF Reader control and displays it
PDFReaderSeekFirst(PDF_MyPDFReader, "company")
// Finds the next element
IF PDFReaderSeekNext(PDF_MyPDFReader) = False THEN
Info("Search ended")
END

// Finds the previous element
PDFReaderSeekPrevious(PDF_MyPDFReader)
Syntax
<Result> = PDFReaderSeekFirst(<PDF Reader Control> , <Text to Find> [, <Options>])
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the text was found in the document,
  • False if the text was not found.
<PDF Reader Control>: Control name
PDF Reader control to use.
<Text to Find>: Character string (with quotes)
Text to find in the content of PDF Reader control.
<Options>: Optional constant (or combination of constants)
Search options:
WholeWordSearch for the whole word (enclosed in punctuation characters or in space characters).
IgnoreCaseSearch while ignoring the case (lowercase/uppercase characters) and the accented characters.

The search is case sensitive by default: the sought text and the text to find must have the same case. To perform a search while ignoring the case, use the IgnoreCase constant.
Remarks
The text and the specified search options are automatically taken into account by PDFReaderSeekNext and PDFReaderSeekPrevious run after PDFReaderSeekFirst.
