Retrieves a numeric value from a Sunburst chart.
Example
MyVal is real = grSunburstGetData(CHART_Chart1, "Europe" + TAB + "France" + TAB + "Montpellier")
Syntax
<Result> = grSunburstGetData(<Chart Name> , <Section Path>)
<Result>: Real
  • Value to retrieve.
  • 0 if the path is invalid or if the section contains no data.
<Chart Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of chart to use. This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined by programming with grCreate.
  • the name of Chart control found in the window editor or report editor.
<Section Path>: Character string
Full path of the section whose value must be retrieved. This parameter has the following format:
"<Name of Base Level>" + TAB + ["<Name of 1st Level>" + TAB + ...
["<Name of Last Level>" + TAB + [...]]]"<Section Name>"
Remarks
  • To retrieve data from a Stock chart, we recommend that you use grStockGetData.
  • To retrieve data from a Surface chart, we recommend that you use grSurfaceGetData.
  • To retrieve a data from another type of chart (Pie, Column, Line, etc.), we recommend that you use grGetData.
  • Versions 21 and later
    To retrieve data from a Heatmap chart, we recommend that you use grHMGetData.
    New in version 21
    To retrieve data from a Heatmap chart, we recommend that you use grHMGetData.
    To retrieve data from a Heatmap chart, we recommend that you use grHMGetData.
  • By default, a chart created by grCreate contains no data.
