Retrieves a data from a Surface chart.

Syntax
<Result> = grSurfaceGetData(<Chart Name> , <Subscript> , <Value to Retrieve>)
<Result>: Real
Retrieved value.
<Chart Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of chart to use.
This name corresponds to:
  • the chart name defined by programming with grCreate,
  • the name of Chart control (found in the window editor, page editor or report editor).
<Subscript>: Integer
Subscript of the data defined by the addition order in the chart.
If the data corresponding to the specified subscript does not exist, the retrieved value is 0.
<Value to Retrieve>: Integer
Indicates the value to retrieve:
grXCoordinateX coordinate of the point to retrieve.
grYCoordinateY coordinate of the point to retrieve.
grZCoordinateZ coordinate of the point to retrieve.
Remarks
  • Reminder: For the data in a Surface chart, the XY plane constitutes the base of the surface while Z indicates the height of the point.
  • To retrieve a data from a Stock chart, we recommend that you use grStockGetData.
  • To retrieve a data from a Scatter chart, we recommend that you use grScatterGetDataXY.
  • To retrieve a data from a chart, use grGetData.
