DatePicker (Function)

Displays the system date picker.
Note: To select a date via the date picker, we recommend that you use the "DatePicker" input mask for the "Date" edit control. This input mask is also available for the iPhone/iPad applications.

InitialDate is Date = "20110101"

MyDate = DatePicker(InitialDate, "Start date")
Syntax
<Result> = DatePicker([<Initial Date> [, <Title>]])
<Result>: Date or Character string
  • Date selected in the picker,
  • Empty string ("") if the selection was canceled by the user.
<Initial Date>: Date or optional character string
Date displayed when opening up the picker. If this date is not specified the picker will display today's date.
<Title>: Optional character string (with quotes)
Title that must be displayed in the picker. If this parameter is not specified, the title displayed will be a text representation of the date displayed in the picker.
