The PeriodSelection property is used to determine and specify if the user can select a time period:
  • in a Scheduler control.
  • in an Organizer control.
This property is equivalent to the "Allow time range selection" option in the "Details" tab of the Scheduler and Organizer control description windows.

Syntax

Finding out whether the user can select a period Hide the details

<Result> = <Control used>.PeriodSelection
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the user can select a period,
  • False if the user cannot select a period.
<Control used>: Control name
Name of the control used. This control can correspond to:
  • an Organizer control.
  • a Scheduler control.

Allowing (or not) the user to select periods Hide the details

<Control used>.PeriodSelection = <Selection of periods>
<Control used>: Control name
Name of the control used. This control can correspond to:
  • an Organizer control.
  • a Scheduler control.
<Selection of periods>: Boolean
  • True to allow the user to select periods,
  • False not to allow the user to select periods.

  • Version 17
