Stored procedures
Displays a popup in a page with a DDW effect (Dim Disabled Windows). This function is used to easily simulate a dialog box in browser code, by using a popup of the page.
Note: To display a popup, PopupDisplay can be used:
  • in a "None" button. In this case, only the browser code of the button will be run.
  • in a "Submit" button. AJAX must be enabled in the code of this button. In this case, the browser code and the server code of button will be run.

Displaying a popup at a specific position Hide the details

PopupDisplay(<Popup Name> [, <Display Position> [, <X> [, <Y>]]])
<Popup Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of popup to display.
<Display Position>: Optional Integer constant
Display position of the popup corresponding to one of the following constants:

Remarks
  • The displayed popup can be hidden by PopupClose.
  • The browsers do not refresh the display in the middle of a JavaScript code: PopupDisplay and PopupClose must be used in different processes. The popup will not be displayed if these functions are used in the same process.
  • Two different popups or two different cells cannot be displayed at the same time by PopupDisplay or CellDisplayDialog.
  • The DDW (Dim Disabled Windows) can be disabled and customized:
