The gglAdWDemographicsTarget type is used to specify the data for demographic targeting that will be used by the "Google AdWords Site Suggestion" service. This service corresponds to the tool for location targeting proposed by the interface of Google AdWords.

The characteristics of this type can be defined and modified by several WLanguage properties.

Properties specific to the description of gglAdWDemographicsTarget variables

The following properties can be used to handle the data for demographic targeting:
Name Type used Effect
EthnicityCharacter stringIndicates whether the search must take the ethnicity into account. The possible values are:
  • "NoPreference": No preference
  • "CaucasianOnly": Caucasian only
  • "AfricanAmericanOnly": African American only
  • "AsianOnly": Asian only
  • "HispanicOnly": Hispanic only
ChildrenCharacter stringIndicates whether the search must be performed among the households with or without children. The possible values are:
  • "NoPreference": No preference.
  • "HouseholdsWithChildrenOnly": Households with children only.
  • "HouseholdsWithoutChildrenOnly": Households without children only.
MaxAgeRangeCharacter stringIndicates the interval in which the maximum age must be found for the sought sites. The possible values are:
  • "Range0To17": 0 to 17 years old.
  • "Range18To24": 18 to 24 years old.
  • "Range25To34": 25 to 34 years old.
  • "Range35To44": 35 to 44 years old.
  • "Range45To54": 45 to 54 years old.
  • "Range55To64": 55 to 64 years old.
  • "Range65Plus": Over 65 years old.
MinAgeRangeCharacter stringIndicates the interval in which the minimum age must be found for the sought sites. The possible values are:
  • "Range0To17": 0 to 17 years old.
  • "Range18To24": 18 to 24 years old.
  • "Range25To34": 25 to 34 years old.
  • "Range35To44": 35 to 44 years old.
  • "Range45To54": 45 to 54 years old.
  • "Range55To64": 55 to 64 years old.
  • "Range65Plus": Over 65 years old.
MaxHouseholdIncomeRangeCharacter stringIndicates the interval in which the maximum yearly income of the household must be found for the sought sites. The possible values are:
  • "Range0To14999"
  • "Range15000To24999"
  • "Range25000To39999"
  • "Range40000To59999"
  • "Range60000To74999"
  • "Range75000To99999"
  • "Range100000PLUS"
These numbers are expressed in dollars.
MinHouseholdIncomeRangeCharacter stringIndicates the interval in which the minimum yearly income of the household must be found for the sought sites. The possible values are:
  • "Range0To14999"
  • "Range15000To24999"
  • "Range25000To39999"
  • "Range40000To59999"
  • "Range60000To74999"

GenderCharacter stringIndicates the gender of the persons on which the search must be performed. The possible values are:
  • "NoPreference": No preference.
  • "FemaleOnly": Woman only.
  • "MaleOnly": Man only.
Note: These properties can be handled by using one of the following syntaxes:

  • <Variable Name>.<Property Name>

Lists the site suggestions corresponding to the specified demographics criteria. Then, you will be able to position the Google AdWords ads on these sites.
