Deletes a scheduled task from a HFSQL Client/Server server.

Syntax
<Result> = HDeleteTask(<Connection Name> , <Task Identifier>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the task was deleted,
  • False if an error occurred. HErrorInfo is used to identify the error.
<Connection Name>: Character string (with or without quotes)
Name of the connection for which the task must be deleted. This connection was defined in the data model editor, or by HDescribeConnection or HOpenConnection.
<Task Identifier>: Integer
Identifier of the task to delete. This identifier is given by HAddTask and HListTask.
Remarks

Necessary rights

To have the rights to delete a task, you must:
  • be the owner of the task.
  • be super-user.
