Copies the content of a Table or TreeView Table control into the clipboard. The control content is copied in text format: it is converted into character string and this string is copied into the clipboard.

Syntax
<Result> = TableToClipboard(<Table Control> [, <Options> [, <Separator> [, <Start Row> [, <End Row>]]]])
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the control content was copied into the clipboard,
  • False otherwise. To find out the error details, use ErrorInfo.
<Table Control>: Control name
Name of control to use. This control can correspond to:
  • a Table control.
  • a TreeView Table control.
<Options>: Optional constant
Configures the information to take into account in the string copied into the clipboard.
taWithInvisibleColumnsAlso exports the invisible control columns.

WINDEV The columns defined as non printable and non exportable are exported. These columns are defined:
  • by programming: ..VisibleInExportAndPrint set to False.
  • in the "General" tab of the description window of columns: "Export and print" to "Never".

Only the data is copied.

  • the rows containing totals, mean and automatic count (these rows are exported by default).

<Separator>: Optional character string (with quotes)
Separator used between the columns. The default separator is the tabulation (TAB).
<Start Row>: Optional integer
Number of the row where the export will start. If this parameter is not specified, the start row is the first row of control.
<End Row>: Optional integer
Number of the row where the export will end. If this parameter is not specified, the end row is the last row of control.
Remarks

Use conditions

TableToClipboard can be used on:
  • a browsing or memory control.
  • a single-selection or multi-selection control.

Limit

The merged columns are ignored.
