Reads a task in the task list of a Lotus Notes or Outlook messaging. To be read, this task must have been previously read (TaskLast, TaskPrevious, TaskFirst or TaskNext), added (TaskAdd) or modified (TaskModify).
Caution: This function cannot be used to read a task in the task list of an Outlook Express messaging.
Example
// Start a Lotus Notes session
SessionID is int
SessionID = EmailStartNotesSession("Password", "MarsServer", "email/julia.nsf", ...
"C:\Users\Julia\AppData\Local\Lotus\Notes\Data\user.id")

// Read the first task
TaskFirst(SessionID)

// Read this same task again
TaskRead(SessionID, mTask.ID)
Syntax
<Result> = TaskRead(<Session Identifier> , <Task Identifier>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if the task was read,
  • False otherwise. To find out the error details, use ErrorInfo associated with the errMessage constant.
<Session Identifier>: Integer
Identifier of the session to use. This identifier is returned by one of the following functions: EmailStartNotesSession, EmailStartOutlookSession, NotesOpenDatabase or OutlookStartSession.
<Task Identifier>: Character string
Identifier of the task to read. This identifier is found in the mTask.ID variable.
Remarks

Current task

The mTask.Out variable is used to find out whether a current task exists.
