Seeks a document in Lotus Notes.
Note: To find a document in a view, use NotesViewSeekLast or NotesViewSeekFirst.

Syntax
<Result> = NotesDocumentSeek(<Session Identifier> , <Lotus Notes Formula>)
<Result>: Boolean
  • True if one or more documents have been found,
  • False otherwise. The ErrorOccurred variable is set to True if an error occurs. To find out the error details, use ErrorInfo associated with the errMessage constant.
If no document was found, the ErrorOccurred variable remains set to False and NotesOut returns True.
<Session Identifier>: Integer
Identifier of session to use. This identifier is returned by EmailStartNotesSession or NotesOpenDatabase.
<Lotus Notes Formula>: Character string (with quotes)
Formula for selecting the documents in Lotus Notes. See the documentation about Lotus Notes for more details.
